Its already four days pass after I came to Amacho. Yesterday we cleaned the Amacho beach. That was the first time for me to exchange with the Amacho People. In summer many people from all over the Japan come to Amacho to enjoy the beautiful beaches and delicious sea foods. So the main intension of the activity is to clean the beach side and make it more attractive to the people who visit the Amacho.
After working with the people of the island what I felt was, it is not easy to achieve a goal when it comes to the small island like this. So you have to be very friendly with the villagers. The other thing what I felt was, due to the wrong doing of very few people, the beauty of the beach has ruined. Most of the debris have float out from the Korean peninsular. It means that beach debris problem has become an international problem. So as the people who love the nature, what we can do is protecting the sea and beach while enjoying it. |
