　どうお過ごしでしょうか。海士に来て二週間ぐらいたちました。少しぐらい島の生活になれてきたところです。東京に打って変わって、別の世界みたいです。カラオケもない、クラブもない、ボーリングもない世界です。その代わりに、きれいな海に美味しい海鮮料理、または美味しい海風にたっぷりの緑。都会では絶対にない大自然です。

　この間は キンニャモニャセンターが年に一回行う夏のビアガーデンをやってきました。私にとして海士で始めて参加する大きなイベントでもあった。私たち普通に知っているビアガーデンとちょっと違ったものです。ビアガーデンの主な目的は海士の食材、海士の分化を皆に紹介しながら皆に楽しんでもらえる場をつくりたいということです。この時期というのは、外で暮らしている海士の人たちがふるさとに戻ってくる時期です。その人たちにも一緒に集められる場にもなった。

　主な料理は海士のイカを利用した、たこ焼き、イカの丸焼き、または海士の野菜を使った焼きそばです。または研修生が開発した、冷やしうどんもお客様に好評でした。また毎回お客様に楽しめるイベントも設けておりました。久しぶりに故郷に戻られた人たち、海士に遊びに来られた観光客、または毎日頑張っている海士の人たちに、ちょっとリラックスできた場になったと思います。

How are you doing? Already two weeks have passed since I came to Ama. Gradually I became to be familiar with the life in Ama Island. It is a 100% different world from the Tokyo. No clubs no karaoke no balling, instead of delicious sea food, sea breeze and plenty of green. Kind of a feeling you never experienced in Tokyo metropolitan.

　Summer is the most eventful season in Ama Island, because people from all over the Japan come to spend their vacation in island .also the people who born in island but who live outside also comeback to their home town .

　So the Kinyamunya center each year organized　beer garden in this season . This beer garden is completely different from the normal beer gardens which we have every where in Japan especially in summer season.　The main intention of the beer garden is not to earn money, but to use the ingredients of the island and introduce the Ama culture to the people from outside. So it was a kind of social gathering place for the people in Ama.
