島根県、松江市のイチバタデパート恒例の出雲美味い物大会を１０月０５日から１０月１０まで行われました。出雲美味い物大会というのは島根県の有名な食べ物を同じところでお買い物出来るまたは、お召し上がる事が出来るイベントです。

　もちろん全て順調にいったとは限らないです。私たちが売った、炊きたてのささえご飯その中の一つである。時間がたつとさざえが堅くなるので、お客様に出せない状況になるのです。日によってお客様の流れが違いますので、どのぐらい飯炊けばいいのか全予想が付かなかった。こういう課題も真剣に考えて来年にはもっといい店を出せるように頑張りたいと思いました。

　または県の中でもまだ海士に行った事がないというお客様もたくさんいましたのでこういう場を利用して海士の魅力をたくさんの人に伝えて行かなければならないと思いました。

　This time Amacho introduces Sazae rice,Sazae curry ,Ama salt and salt sweet jelly. Sazae rice and Sazae curry were just cooked, and facilities have made to take the lunch in front of the stole. Most of the shops are very famous in the area and so customers are rushed in to buy those things. So we had to put more effort to sell our products, having the fact that Ama is parted from the main land, most of the people did not know about the Sazae rice and Sazae curry. But there were good demand for sazae rice, because it's a new experience for the most of the customers. There were many things to learn for me also. It is very difficult to target that how many customers will come in a one day, So it's hard to estimate, how much to cook. So we cooked over sometimes. The other thing is you have to have the knowledge of the products because customers were having many questions.   

　Having participated for the event, I was able to make clear, how department store differs from convenient store or super market. The customers who are coming to department store not just come to buy products; they are also coming to talk with us. It's also our chance to get hearing from the customers, because they are expressing their live feeling of what they thing about the products.

　Another thing what I felt was, still there are many people who do not know about Ama. Some of them just know the name but do not know in detail. I felt that we have to use these opportunities to do PR about Ama.
